Take Action Challenge - Integrity Fitness

“My passion and goal is to contribute and help others lead awesome lifestyles. I want to help everybody

be their best self. I crave to make an impact on everybody that comes through my club. I believe that fitness is not a destination, it’s a lifestyle”

As a good fitness and health leader should, they must find strategies to inspire and help others live a high-quality life. They should see past the short-term goals like weight loss that will make a person

feel good only for a few weeks or, maybe a couple of months as those feelings do not last. To create the lasting change we must grow and improve our quality of life. This challenge is designed to bring awareness on how fitness makes you feel like a better version of yourself. After we train, we are focused, thinking is clearer, and we are far more positive which leads to better decision-making as all your decisions affect your destiny.

After training, I feel more vibrant, positive and recharged and this lifts the stress off my mind. I feel my body become high functioning which improves my focus. This in turn helps me make better decisions. With better decisions, I know I will continue to improve my state, our mood. This program is long-term and far more fulfilling. Most importantly, fitness is something that you do for yourself; it is the greatest form of self-respect. It does not matter what happens on a particular day, when you exercise, you have done something great for yourself. It is like a natural drug. And you don’t have to dedicate too much time to it. 20 minutes a day. That’s all it takes. There will be no gimmicks, or buying supplements with false promises. There are no hidden catches and no bullsh*t. It might not be easy. But then, that’s why we call it a challenge. But you will feel great when it is done!

Let’s take action together!

THE CHALLENGE

What can you really accomplish in 20 minutes?

Working out for just 20 minutes daily will trigger a cascade of positive changes in the body. Why do this? Because I want to help you create a high functioning body that is energetic, vibrant and makes you happy. A body to make you feel proud and be who you want to be.

  1. You will activate the brain. When we move, our brain improves for the better.

  2. Your muscles start to use the stored energy and you create energy- positive changes.

  3. You will reduce stress by releasing serotonin and other endorphins during workout. This release is beneficial to reduce anxiety and depression as well. Have you heard the saying, “nobody leaves a workout feeling stressed ever?” You can achieve this endorphin release in as little as 10 minutes. It is a documented fact that mental illness affects 1 in 5 Canadians a year.

  4. You will think clearer. Therefore, your problems become more manageable.

  5. You will reduce the risk of so many diseases.

  6. It can help you sleep better.

  7. Make you feel younger and more vibrant.

  8. It is the step you need to take to gain the courage to take the second step, the third and the fourth. You need to start somewhere.

  9. You will start to use more calories at complete rest.  If you have healthy food around, your body physiology will start to change.

  10. Stanford University has proven that just walking for about 15 minutes can increase your creativity by up to 60%.

  11. Your heart will get stronger and you will have more energy.

  12. Your body will get stronger and your body will start the process of reducing the body fat over time.

I have no time!

I do not believe in the excuse that there is no time. Your focus goes where your energy flows. Edward Stanley said it best. He said “Those who do not find time to exercise will have to find time for illness”.

Time is precious; trust me, I get it. Many of us, as we mature, will throw themselves, mind, body and soul right into life. As we receive more, we give more. That could mean more time in our careers, families, and any other form of investments that we feel we need to achieve to be successful. We often walk away from things that we need to do for ourselves, like sleep, eating well and exercises.  We neglect ourselves and in turn we slowly change our bodies into a fertile place for stress, adrenal depletion, unhappiness and unfulfilled feelings. When this happens, we sense something is not right, something is off, and we just don’t feel balanced. Looking a little deeper, we may see we are neglecting the one thing that we truly own and need to be happy, ourselves. We know what we should do, but the time or motivation to do it, is so hard to find.  In seeking happiness, we need to take care of ourselves. We must.

“If something stands between you and your success, move it. Never be denied.”

Dwayne Johnson.

I STILL DON’T HAVE TIME?

Let’s talk about something different, what happens and how do we appear to others when we do not take care of ourselves? Ask Yourself:

HOW DO I APPEAR TO OTHERS WHEN I DON’T MAKE TIME FOR MYSELF?

How do I appear to others when I don’t take care of my body or my health?

How do I feel when I don’t move or exercise?

How do I feel when I eat food that is not healthy?

How do I appear to others when I don’t sleep?

How do I appear to others when I don’t relax?

Not making time for these things will suppress your soul and rob you of your energy. If we want others around us to be happy, we will need to be ‘selfish’. This does not mean you will be a selfish person in your life, it means you must put “SELF FIRST”.

Start your day with Intentions. “What will it take today for me to show up as my Best Self?”

So I will ask you this, “By not making time, what are you in the long-term taking away from yourself?”

When is the best time of the day to do this?

When is the best time to exercise? The answer is simple: the time of day when you can train consistently.

If it’s first thing in the morning, great. If it’s during your lunch break, fantastic. If it’s in the evening, BRILLANT.

There are benefits to training at each of those times. In the morning you are starting your day by increasing your metabolism, and that will help you all day long. This also floods your brain with all sorts of natural chemicals and hormones that will make you feel much better all day. Lunchtime training can give you that surge of energy you are looking for. It will help reduce those afternoon blahs. Evening workouts will take advantage of the natural increases in strength and endurance that happened with changes in our circadian rhythms. It will help break down the stress hormones.

Soooooo- do what works for you and do it consistently!

What do I need to have in order start this 14-day challenge?

  • You will need to be healthy and may need to get clearance from your doctor

  • A workout mat will help

  • A pair of light to medium dumbbells or something you hold that has weight.

  • Water for hydration

  • Space around your computer or phone.

The Strategist

For over twenty years, I have helped thousands of people lose weight, body fat and tone their body. I create fitness and nutritional strategies that are designed in a precise format that will charge the body with a chemical cocktail of dopamine and serotonin, creating incredible energy and natural strength. The strategies require repetition and a commitment to yourself to complete the program. My strategies are not for everyone.

To build the best strategy, you need to be committed to do a lot of work to learn the most exciting, science-proven training and nutritional techniques. It has to be easy to follow. So, I create a ‘map’ to success that women can have confidence in because I personally used all of my resources to build this ‘map’. I respect their trust and it motivates me to be my best. I understand that the true key to success is updating this ‘map’ of success as my resources teach me new techniques and strategies every day. It is crucial that your training is always updated with new ways to challenge the body and fuel it to maximize benefits.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CHALLENGE IS DONE? REPETITION

The key to success in anything in life is repetition. The key to the 14-day challenge is to show that repetition will slowly start to make you feel better. However, it is just a start. It takes a lot more than repetition and practice to make those changes lasting results. It will take a daily commitment of investing in your body, learning, fuelling, and pushing it to see the growth, the real secret to success to fitness. So, keep going. Find yourself a place to come ‘home’ for a few months and move that body every day. If not every day, do it at least 3-4 days a week. Feel free to reach out to our team and come in for a free workout. Our program, our team, and our resources are designed to help you find the clearest and most effective path.
